The aim is to strengthen the movement for food sovereignty in Europe. At the first Nyeleni Forum in 2007, 500 Delegates from 80 different nations met in Selingué, Mali to strengthen the worldwide movement for food sovereignty. The Nyeleni – Europe Forum 2011 is a next step in this process – bringing actors working towards Food Sovereignty in Europe together in order to share, build and develop common strategies for Food Sovereignty in Europe.
